Lonely Planet Phrase Book or Travel Guide
This is the kind of gift that I love to receive. A travel Guide or phrasebook to somewhere I’m planning a trip to or a to a place on my wish list.
Travel Packing Cubes
Travel packing cubes are so great to help you feel organised. Use them to sort your clothing into outfits or keep one for underwear one for shirts, one for shorts and pants? Sort any way you like, but still be able to find items easily.
Flexible mini tripod
No matter who you are buying for a mini tripod is a gift that will be used on travels and at home.
Kindle Whitepaper
I have used a Kindle Whitepaper for a number of years now and love how light weight it is. One of the main features is that the screen glare does not hurt your eyes, it is a close as you will get to reading a paperback.
Multi Travel Adaptor
Especially these days everyone travels with something that needs to be charged or used, think ipad, phone, camera, hair dryer.
Lipstick Size Portable Charger
Small enough to put in your pocket, keep on hand for recharging your phone or camera when out and about away from a power source.
Head Torch
A head torch has many uses. Digging through your bag in a hostel and can’t find what you want but don’t want to wake others? Walking at night so you don’t trip over.
Travel Toiletry Bag
This is my pick of toilet backs, large enough to carry your supplies, but not to large as to take up all your luggage space. It also hangs for easy use.
Money Belt
Money belts have come a long way since some of my earlier travels. Much more comfortable. Such as this belt.
Travel Compression Sox
Compression sox were once only used when having an operation, they are now suggested for use on flights. The reason is to reduce the chance of getting DVT – Deep Vein Thrombosis. The good news is now, they come in lots of great colours and patters, not like the old plain white ones.
Electronic Cable Organiser
There nothing worse than a tangle of cables in your bag. An electronic cable organiser, has a spot for everything. Now you can easy store and find items.
Gear Ties
Gear ties are a great option if you only have a couple cables, or you want to tie up you headphone cable.
Travel Compression Packing
In the same vein as the travel cubes, compression bags help you stay organised, but are especially useful if you are short on space.
B-Comb Travel Pillow
This grabbed my attention, I’ve not purchased one of these yet, they look quite good, as I always get a sore neck when travelling. If you have one or purchase one. I’d love to hear what you think of it.
